Abuja - The Association of Nigerians Living with Disabilities, ANLD, has called upon the governor of the central bank of Nigeria, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, to come out and declare his disability.

Speaking to newsmen, a representative of the body said that her association is committed to removing the stigma attached to disabilities.

She deplored the tendency for notable Nigerians to hide their disabilities from public, claiming that this practice is damaging for people living with disabilities in the Nation.

She informed news men that her association has determined that the CBN governor is a Nigerian living with a disability and she castigated him for not being open with his disability and for not joining their association.

According to her, from Malam Sanusi’s utterances the association has been able to deduce that he suffers from Tourette Syndrome, a rare and bizarre syndrome associated with the exclamation of obscene or socially inappropriate and derogatory remarks.

This disability, according to the lady, accounts for and explains away instances in which the CBN governor has abused or insulted certain people, referred to entire ethnicities as inferior, famously called for bankers to be shot dead, and many more episodes of yarning okpata.

She concluded by making a passionate plea to t he CBN governor to ‘own his disability.’

She asked him to make bold and come out to declare that he is a Nigerian living with a disability and she assured him that the Association of Nigerians Living with Disabilities will be there for him to support him and encourage him and defend him whenever he mis-yarns again.
